How to change your Domain forwarding Settings for DISH Website?

Diaa Elhimdi Updated by Diaa Elhimdi

To improve pricing, efficiency, and IT security, DISH Website will update its Firewall settings. As a result, if you use a custom domain (your own restaurant URL), you may need to adjust your DNS settings in your domain provider's account (e.g. GoDaddy, Strato, etc.).
If you do not update your settings by 1 July 2025, your website will no longer be accessible through your domain.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Identify your domain provider (e.g. GoDaddy, Strato, Namecheap, etc.)
Here's a list of main Domain providers:
Ionos, Strato, GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, Netim, OVH
  1. Log in to your domain provider's interface with your personal credentials (NOT on the DISH Website platform!)
  2. Navigate to your domain settings
  3. Check and update the following DNS records:
    • A record
➝ Replace any IP address set as: 34.89.135.24
➝ With the new IP address: 34.111.211.251
    • CAA record
➝ If you see a record that mentions letsencrypt.org, delete it.
➝ Remove the CAA record entirely.
(CAA records are no longer supported by DISH Website.)
